Lorenzo D'Anna new Second Team coach
Lorenzo D’Anna is the new Second Team coach. Paolo Nicolato, now Eugenio Corini's assistant manager, has passed the baton to D'Anna, who played for Chievo from 1994 to 2007 and is seen in the above photo with Corini during the first training session in Peschiera of the coach from Bagnolo Mella.
Following spells with Como and Pro Sesto and two seasons with Fiorentina, D'Anna arrived in Chievo in 1994, and became captain. He played 13 seasons with the Gialloblù and celebrated the promotion to Serie A and reaching the preliminary stages of the Champions League. In Serie A and Serie B he made a total of 354 appearances and scored 17 goals. After playing with Piacenza and Torino, D'Anna returned to Chievo as an observer. He now is about to embark on a new adventure, so good luck to Lorenzo as he starts coaching the Second Team. Tomorrow at 3pm at the Bottagisio ground will be his first training session.
